  1. This is a very informative video! I enjoyed the review of what we have learned in class, and especially the history of adult education. I also learned from the adult education in the future section. Thank you! I am very much an amateur video editor and I enjoyed watching the fun ways in which the video was put together and the graphics. This was very well done! Great job!

  2. Hi Group 4! This was very comprehensive overview that I found helpful and informative. I learned new things, and I've been in the class all semester :) I think the debate about professionalization was spot on and gave me a better grasp on the subject. I also felt like the requirements for AE section was helpful. The narrators voice was calming and clear which made the presentation flow nicely. I also enjoyed the images presented. I think Dr. Chang should show this during the first week of class. It would have given me a better foundation to stand on jumping in as a brand new grad student. ~Jayne

  3. Hello Group 4! What a fantastic and comprehensive overview you've provided. I feel as though you have accurately and succinctly wrapped up this course content within 16 minutes! This is a great highlight reel of the history, debates, perspectives, and ideas that are present within adult education, and I can see it being a good tool that students could reference at the beginning of this course. It was easy to follow along with and kept my attention. Your survival memo is also great, and shows that you all have worked together very well and had a successful group experience. Many of your ideas are echoed in my group's survival memo as well, and hopefully incoming students can learn from us all. - Ashten :)

  4. Nice work, Group 4! I really enjoyed learning about the Indianapolis Urban League's Read & Rise program through your E-Archive. It's such an important factor in a child's academic success to have an involved and passionate parent take part in their learning - plus the experience doubles as an AE opportunity for the parent to learn more about ECE! All around great job, thanks for sharing your great ideas!

  5. Hi Group 4! I think your survival guide was SPOT ON! You really provided a comprehensive guide to success in this class. I especially liked the part about how to work in a group setting. Many people dread group projects but I think you gave some great tips on how to prepare and execute a successful and pain-free group project. I also liked the recommendation for technology to use (such as google drive) because it felt like a tangible suggestion for future students! Great job! -Hanna Kadinger

  6. You all did a great job. The voice over method in your video is similar to what I used when doing mine. You all did an in depth overview of what adult education is. I appreciate how accessible you made your information. There is even an option to download the powerpoint as a reference if necessary. This is a great template that may help prepare others for this course and can also be used as a reference when working on project in the future.

History of Adult Education in Muncie: A Video Presentation by Luther Prater

Hi! I did something a bit different. By searching old newspaper articles, I was able to chronicle a comprehensive history of adult education in Muncie, Indiana. Please feel free to let me know if it is informative and what I can do to improve it.  You will have to pause the video because it goes too fast.  https://ballstate-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/lsprater_bsu_edu/EY9OQ0GuncBDhWAEIVR0cLoBSJRpZcc2jHaWxBQ9Hme5_A?e=r7Hp64 Thanks and have a wonderful day! Luther I responded to Ashten Lail's paper.
